This is our monthly development diary, where you can read the latest updates on the project\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve been a bit absent this month because we’ve had to meet several times to make decisions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were many open questions that needed to be addressed, but the first one we want to share with you is the choice of the studio’s name and logo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very happy with the result. We believe that it captures the essence and spirit of every team member<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, we still haven’t found a game’s name that feels completely right, so you’ll have to wait a little longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the narrative side<\/strong>, with Roc\u00edo in charge<\/strong>, we kicked off the month by defining the main plot and the script for the demo<\/strong>. We are very proud of the process results, but as you can imagine, we can’t share it with you because it would be a spoiler<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ana <\/strong>has been involved in every process, from the logo to the script creation. Her main task right now is writing the game design document (GDD)<\/strong>; someone needs to create and document all the game mechanics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can only show you that we are very organised when it comes to documentation.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the art<\/strong>, Luz <\/strong>has been heavily involved in the logo design, as well as in background experimentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has also started with some character designs<\/strong>, although it’s still in a very early stage; we hope we can share this work with you throughout October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bea <\/strong>has been working primarily on production and management tasks<\/strong>, such as creating and moving sticky notes. She has made some progress on programming, but we do not consider the advances enough to showcase them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To end with…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll be attending the Barcelona Saga Game Fest as visitors!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next weekend<\/strong> we will be attending the event. We don’t have a booth, <\/strong>but we’re really excited because the four of us will be meeting in person.<\/strong> And, let’s be honest, we’ll get to talk about the game to everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what are our next steps?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To choose the game<\/strong>‘s name and create its logo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It might sound like a joke, but not having it is blocking <\/strong>other tasks, such as creating the Steam and Kickstarter pages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roc\u00edo will begin writing dialogues<\/strong>, while Ana and Bea<\/strong> will handle design documentation, production and programming tasks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part of the next month will be that we’ll start bringing our protagonist and our magical girls to life<\/strong>. We can’t wait to see Luz’s work, so we’ll share any progress as soon as it’s available!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
